The Recovery Coach NY Institute provides comprehensive on-line Recovery Coach and Companion training that can be done in your own home in your own time. Certified by NAADAC, this course is for anyone who wants to learn the most up-to-date methodologies to help support those in need of guidance while striving for or maintaining their recovery. By taking you step-by-step through each topic, you will learn the skills necessary to support the growth of both you and your clients. 

The Course

The Recovery Coach Institute is a training model offered by The Recovery Coach NY, a fully integrated Case Management, Sober Coaching, Sober Companion, Intervention and Safe Transport company. Recovery Coaches work with clients struggling with substance use and mental health disorders, and their families. Throughout this training you will learn the tools needed to be a Level I Certified Recovery Coach.

How You Will Benefit

With the completion and submission of all module quizzes and the Training Evaluation form, participants will be certified as a Level I Trained Recovery Coach.


The Recovery Coach NY Institute was founded by Cindy Feinberg, President of The Recovery Coach NY as an answer to the question people from all walks of life were asking her again and again – how could they become a Certified Recovery Coach? Drawing from her years of experience as a coach and case manager, Cindy developed a wide-ranging course that delves into all aspects of the roles and responsibilities of being a Recovery Coach, from crisis management to sober transport to recovery aftercare.
